Presentation of Mio MiVuE M300 and MiVue R25 DVRs

Objective:

The agency was given a task to organize and hold a press event. The occasion — two new models of Mio DVRs with unusual specifications entering the Russian market.

Period: August 27, 2014

Implementation:

We have analyzed the objective and possible implementation of the project. As a result, the best format for the event was chosen — the press dinner for the journalists of the largest automotive, sociopolitical and technical media and the opinion leaders.

The concept of the event was built around the unique features of the products and the demonstration of their use in real life conditions. We chose the MUZEY restaurant in the centre of Moscow as the venue for this event.

A spacious courtyard allowed us to hold a welcome reception outside. To the accompaniment of a saxophone 50 guests were talking, enjoying their welcome cocktails and took photos with a motorcycle equipped with Mio MiVue M300 — a DVR for active travelers. The same device was floating in aquariums, to demonstrate this model's water resistance. Mio MiVue R 25 — a second device presented during the event — is a rearview mirror recorder and it is imperceptible when viewed from the street.

The speakers were: Steve Chang, President of Mio Technology, Tatiana Arutyunova (Татьяна Арутюнова), Head of Mio Technology in Russia and CIS, and Sales Director Alex Stepanov (Алекс Степанов).

Result:

50 (100% appearance) journalists attended the press dinner

71 publications as the result of the event and our press release

The audience coverage reached more than 18 million people in a month.

Opinion Leaders Project

Objective: promotion of HyperX Cloud gaming headset with the gaming opinion leaders.

Period: January-March, 2015.

Implementation:

The Agency chose popular streamers and video bloggers and organized a series of video reviews and product placement. A link to the vendor's site was placed below each video. The broadcasters were wearing HyperX Cloud headsets during the streams, and product videos were embedded in the stream. To engage the audience we organized contests among the spectators.

Result:

  • 6 video reviews
  • 2 reviews
  • 4 competitions.

The total number of hits to the HyperX site exceeded 180,000 people. The total number of views — more than 500,000.
